Operations Manager
We are a manufacturing facility located in Cumberland County, New Jersey, searching for an Operations Manager. In business since the late ‘70’s, our business continues to thrive despite these trying economic times. As our business continues to grow we’ve continued to invest in not only our equipment, but our employee’s as well.
The Operations Manager oversees the entire production process, from the procurement of raw materials to product shipment. Expectations include:
· Enhancing and supporting safety throughout the facility
· Scheduling of production operations to maximize on-time deliveries
· Maintain vendor relations and secure additional suppliers
· Keep management informed of any issues related to:
o Required staffing levels
o Material procurement
o Equipment
o Production activities
· Develop processes to:
o Reduce costs
o Decrease time required for change-overs
o Enhance quality
o Improve on-time deliveries
Applicants must at a minimum have a bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of related professional experience.
