JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

Title:                    Operations Manager

Reports to:        VP Operations

Salary:                TBD

Shift:                   Day (M-F)

Positions:          One

 

Summary:

The Operations Manager will direct and manage the daily operation of our Lakeland, Florida office under the direction of the executive management team.   
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

1.     Provide leadership to a team of claims representatives, attorneys and nurses in pursuit of prompt and accurate third-party healthcare collections

2.     Assist in analysis of labor costs, including utilization, overtime, expenses, training, etc.

3.     Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly revenue forecasts.

4.     Provide analysis of workflow management and efficiency including prioritization and backlog management processes.

5.     Identify, facilitate, and leverage resources, and advise senior management to improve efficiency, cost management, revenue and margins.
 

 

Skills and Abilities:

 

1.     An in-depth working knowledge of the hospital revenue cycle, managed care contracting, and billing and coding principles. 

2.     Knowledge of regulatory requirements concerning Medicare, Medicaid and HIPAA. 

3.     The ability to work autonomously, interact at the senior management level and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

4.     Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent analytical skills. 
 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

1.     BA/BS degree in healthcare administration or related business discipline.

2.     Requires at least five years experience in hospital third party reimbursement with at least two years experience in management.

3.     The candidate should possess a successful track record of improving procedures and processes, implementing change and developing staff.
