The opportunity;
Your new employer is an Australian based manufacturer and supplier of custom made cable assemblies to customers in Australia.
This role based in Rydalmere is an exciting opportunity for a “hands on” operations manager looking to take an already successful business to the next level.
The role;
You will be working closely with the Managing Director to improve the efficiency and productivity of the business. Your main focus will be to streamline the business and to ensure that all facets of the production process is well managed and performed to a high quality standard.
The main responsibilities are:
• Create, implement and monitor processes required to support lean manufacturing.
• Provide visible leadership, support and coaching to staff.
• Manage the production process from end to end
• Quality Assurance
• Oversee the warehouse and procurement systems.
You;
As the successful applicant you will bring;
• Tertiary qualifications in an Engineering or Electrical related discipline
• Experience in operational or production environments
• Understanding of purchasing and inventory management activities
• Excellent communication skills couple with team management experience.
The type of personality that will suit this role is a confident self started that enjoys a challenge. This is a role that will see you utilise a combination of your lateral thinking skills and hands on ability on the shop floor.
This role is perfect for someone who has a love for machinery and being on the tools.
