Operations Manager recruitment
The Operations Manager has the responsibility of Leading the production planning, logistics and purchasing departments in support of the clients needs.
Planning/Logistics:
- Provide leadership, development, and management of the individuals in the Department
- Forecasting process of the company
- Production scheduling, prioritization, and materials management at subcontract manufacturing centers
- Monitor and work closely with our subcontract factories to ensure demand, supply and resolve supply issues as required
- Ensuring customer shipments and factories complete work in timely fashion to insure minimal shipment reschedules
- KPI owner for Delivery and Leadtime
- Oversee the overall logistics department of the company
- Lead the Continual Improvement of the overall forecasting and planning systems though automation activities.
Purchasing:
- In support of VP of Operations for negotiating and establishing manufacturing services and materials pricing agreements (quotes) as well as long-term supplier agreements/contracts for all companies issued purchases
- Primary manufacturing services/goods covered under purchases are “Wafer Fabrication”, Assembly”, and /Scan” services
- Responsible for negotiation and acceptance of quarterly supplier services quotes
- Work with the companies Finance Team is resolution of any services invoicing and payment issues
- Define/setup/implement Manufacturing Services Budgets to support company financial targets
- Continual Improvement of the companies purchasing procedure, business rules, and internal/external work processes.
Qualifications
- Strong semiconductor planning, logistics and purchasing experience preferably within a fables environment
- Knowledge of working with ERP/CRM systems
- Experience of working with various departments including sales and marketing
- Excellent customer facing skills
