Operations Manager – Renewable Energy Projects recruitment
The group that has recently expanded into the Mining and Energy sectors. The pipeline of projects being looked at is very positive and will range from 10MW - 170MW within the Hydro Electric sector originally, with wind and solar opportunities being looked at in the future.
The amount of equity to be invested over the coming years is substantial and will provide a great opportunity for someone to join a long term basis.
The candidate can be based in London, Munich, Frankfurt or Albania, Croatia, Bosnia and will be required for c.2 weeks in every month.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
• Direct investment and operational experience, coming from an energy background.
• Be motivated and driven to lead a team of 4/5 on the ground and take responsibility for the projects.
• Be running the acquisition phases through to planning and construction and must be a front facing manager, with prior managerial, negotiations, legal, permitting and consulting experience.
• Directly reporting to the Managing Director.
• A German speaker would be beneficial.
This candidate must be able to deal with all the external consultants and focus on delivering the acquisitions, due diligence and negotiations of Hydro Electric Schemes.
