Operations Officer recruitment

Purpose of role

The Bank is to reorganise its Banking Operations Settlements Operations teams requires another person to assist both teams in their daily operational tasks.

Experience

At least 2 years Banking/Financial Services experience in a processing role where a high level of accuracy was absolutely key.

Accountabilities

Review new account opening documents refer to Compliance for approval

Opening of new Private Baking accounts

Preparation input of FX/MM /or Banking Operations payments in SWIFT

Preparation input of batches to the core banking system

Preparation of daily Nostro reconciliation

Daily monitoring of the confirmation matching system

Key Competencies

Good Excel Word skills

Experience of the Misys Equation system preferred

A responsible, enthusiastic, self- motivated and flexible approach to work

Ability to work with a high level of accuracy at all times

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work effectively under pressure

Self motivated

A flexible attitude to the team’s work, including a willingness to re-prioritise and undertake any of the tasks of other members of the team in time of absence
