Operations Planner – Mast Global

Individual contributor position responsible for managing the delivery of products to customers. Manages a book of business (supply chain, costing, financial communication, on time delivery and inventory) for one category or sub-brand. Responsible for working with customers to identify future requirements. Manages procurement of components to make product in conjunction with scheduling production of the finished product at vendors. Ensures that the finished product is delivered to customer warehouses in a timely manner and works in conjunction with customers to prioritize production if necessary. Manages vendor component inventory levels against established targets. Manages key vendor relationships and vendor scorecarding. Works cross functionally with Customer Planning, Allocation, Merchants, Finance, Commercialization and Warehousing teams to support production and flow. Responsible for the data integrity of Material Requirement Planning (MRP) that will enable a consistent planning horizon.
Vendor Management
-Lead the weekly filler production calls
-OTC accountability
-Expediting shipments /production
-Assist with Portal transactions (ESS, Fillers Suppliers) / troubleshoot issues (blocked invoices)
-Responsible for reviewing the Vendor scorecard weekly working with fillers/suppliers to obtain sustain GREEN status

Customer Management
-Responsible for communicating date changes to open orders - status reporting to brand partners (OTC)
-Review communicate feasibility timing for upside buy requests
-Review communicate feasibility of pull-forward requests
-Provide component information to Brand for use of excess inventory in SAS buys; assist with component run-outs on re-stage programs

Inventory Management
-Manage to component inventory targets
-Manage detailed BOM accuracy (waste factors usage); work closely with ESS during B2B to identify BOM issues resolve
-Assist ESS with Physical Inventory; attend (if requested) provide support to resolve issues
-Involved in quarterly review of EO
-Quality Notification (QN) support
-End of trend inventory management/
planning; run-outs for re-stage programs; Seasonal products
-Review P.I. book to book results for outliers and items that could impact planning

Transaction/Data Management
-Place manage finished good (turnkey managed), component WIP PO's
-Execute buys utilizing MRP
-Data Maintenance (PIR, NASF, cost rolls, BOM's)
-RFQs management
(review/approval from manager)
-Enter Approve Vendor Labor Charges in Optiva
-Responsible for timely C-project task completion (all tasks related to component ordering FG production)
-Responsible for PO maintenance
-Assist ESS (AP/IC) DC (LLS) with issue resolution
-Sales order entry (wholesale; VSB; international), as applicable

Reporting
-Review action open order report (finished goods/component/WIP)
-Quickstart reporting
-Ops Ex Reporting to Manager
-New Article Launch tracking (launch grids)
-OTC reporting by vendor
-Run Open Requisitions Report (ME5A); validate demand; execute buys
-Retail needs report (VSB)

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Min of 3 to 5 years planning/inventory management experience.

EDUCATION:
-Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience.
