KEY OBJECTIVE
To provide exceptional insurance operations support for underwriting, claims and/or audit. This involves efficient completion of operational tasks within the defined timeliness and quality service level agreements while providing exceptional customer service.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under limited supervision, assist the business units and support organizations by performing various operational support responsibilities including by not limited to:
Complete assigned work within deadlines, established service level agreements and within quality standards
Liaison with business units and support organizations to facilitate completion of work requests
Delivery of complete and accurate work product
Establish and sustain the development, documentation and implementation of operational procedures for supported lines of business
Responsible for continuous examination of process steps to identify improvement opportunities
Work independently and within the team to make sound business decisions to accomplish performance goals
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong knowledge of Personal Computers and use of Outlook, Excel, Word, and Access as well as the ability to create reports from data
Ability to learn quickly and retain information
Extremely good organizational/time management skills
Ability to multi-task
Results oriented
Strong analytical/problem solving skills
Ability to work independently, make decisions and apply sound business judgment

Strong work ethic, focused on accountability and follow through on tasks and responsibility

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Successful completion of college level curriculum or the equivalent related business experience
Experience within the insurance industry and/or understanding of basic insurance terminology
Organized, focused and has a structured system to meet deadlines
Resourceful, able to see things through to resolution
Strong analytical skills
Self-starter and ability to work in a fast paced team environment
