This premier major bank has a concrete growth plan for the region in terms of geographies and products. It is seeking dynamic Operations Project Managers at both VP / SVP levels for its Treasury and Capital Markets businesses.
You will influence the strategic development and/or implementation of key operations and business initiatives within Treasury and Capital Markets. You will serve as senior operations project lead / team lead to current strategic platform initiatives or assigned workstreams. This includes managing scope, resources, schedule, issues and quality control as well as providing day to day management of the projects under management. You will act as the voice of Treasury and Capital Markets Operations organization for strategic projects, ensuring that input and feedback from the relevant business and support partners are well captured and integrated. You will represent Operations in project meetings with stakeholders to promote understanding of operations and related risk and control requirements and policies, and communicate on operations issues identified during the projects. You will work effectively with stakeholders to ensure that issues raised are resolved effectively, ensure timely delivery of projects within budget, and provide timely and regular updates to the key stakeholders.
You will have good Operations experience in Treasury and Capital Markets, good working knowledge of Treasury products, especially in Derivatives (all asset classes) and Structured Products. With strong project, change and people management experience, you have strong problem-solving and inter-personal skills and the ability to challenge the status quo.
