Operations Risk Control Analyst – Dallas recruitment

The successful candidate will support the assessment of various WHEM Fund Service business units' capabilities and overall control environment, and proactively mitigate operational risk through the development and implementation of core standards relating to Control, Compliance, Business Resiliency, and Quality Assurance testing.

This role will report into the Dallas FS OCM and will work closely with their respective regional counterparts as well as WHEM FS Senior Management, Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit.
Although the successful candidate will primarily focus on the HFS, IFAS, and Pension Utility businesses, they will have the opportunity to work closely with other businesses where
opportunities arise.

The key responsibilities of the successful candidate will be to support the regional Fund Services control agenda including:
Regular reporting to Senior FS Management on the: health of key controlsidentified areas of riskSupport and management of core OCM deliverables including: SAS70 audit requirementsControl Self AssessmentsThe recording and tracking of Risk Events that occur within the regionEnd-to-end oversight and ownership of Action Plans and Corrective Actions - ensuring they are tracked until completion, are appropriately closed out with the relevant substantiating evidence, and escalated where necessaryAssist in conducting end-to-end reviews and quality assurance testing of the core controls and processes with Fund Services to identify: Policies/procedures not followedControl GapsPotential risk reducing process improvements and efficienciesProvide support for other business unit review processes as necessary and drive for the proactive completion of all QA/Audit actions across the function

Qualifications
