Position Description:
The Shanghai Cash Settlements (Payment Utility) Team is responsible for facilitating cash wires for both Derivative and Non-Derivative Business Units in compliance with the Firm?s Payment Policy. The position requires close collaboration with supported Business Units and Cash Management team throughout the day to ensure all cash wires are processed timely and accurately, and to diminish any risk exposure that may arise with the wires.
Product Coverage:
OTC Derivatives products (including Interest Rate Swaps, Credit Default Swaps, FRAs, Cross Currency Swaps, Credit Default Swaps, Variance Swaps, OTC Options), Commodities and Syndicates.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring that time sensitive cash wires are released in accordance with the currency cutoffs
- Acting as a process owner and being accountable for all outstanding items
- Liaising with Cash Management team and various Business Units throughout the Firm in regards to
payment queries
- Developing and improving existing processes and reporting
- Ability to interact with various levels of Firm Management and communicate effectively
- Working as part of the global settlements team to assist with development, testing implementation of
internal system changes
Skills Required:
- Bachelors Degree
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with ability to tailor communication appropriately for the relevant audience
- Proven ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details
