The role is to work as a business analyst on the Equity Derivatives CTB programme. This role has a global focus and will entail collaborating with Trading, Sales, Operations, Finance and IT located across Europe, the Americas and Asia. Primary responsibilities will include:
- Work with stakeholders across all business functions to define business processing requirements to support
- Work with technology partners to translate these requirements into functional and technical design
- Assist with test planning, management and execution
- Support functional deployment to users, providing training and post implementation support
- Assist with project planning, management and reporting
The candidate will be responsible for the delivery of key business changes from inception through delivery. It is expected that the candidate will be able to operate with minimal supervision and will gain full ownership of significant pieces of business analysis.
The successful candidate will have strong problem solving skills, an analytical mindset, good communication skills, knowledge of derivative products and/or confirmations processing.
Skills Required:
The core skills /experience required are:
- Product knowledge - good understanding of derivative products particularly, equity derivatives.
- Project and modelling skills - to represent information in forms that enhance decision making and communications. Agile project delivery including experience of User Story modelling a strong advantage.
- Good quantitative analytical skills - the ability to critically evaluate information gathered across multiple sources, reconcile variances and recommend proposals to senior management and key stakeholders
- Project Management - proven, formal change management experience with exposure to the full project lifecycle
- Communication - the ability to communicate to a variety of audiences from Analysts to Executive Directors and tailoring messages as appropriate
- Knowledge of the full front-to-back trade lifecycle including trade capture, confirmation, settlement, valuation, regulatory reporting, risk management
