Operations Supervisor
NACCO Materials Handling Group, Inc., a worldwide manufacturer of materials handling equipment, currently has an opening for a 2nd shift Operations Supervisor at our Parts Distribution Center in Danville, Illinois.
Responsibilities include: supervising and directing the hourly workforce and distribution operations in all areas by allocating resources appropriately to fully realize daily business requirements in a consistent, efficient and quality manner. Enforce work and safety rules; coaching, communication and disciplinary action with the bargaining unit. Actively involved in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Workforce Management Program (WFM), utilizing the systems to identify operational trends and assist in daily resource utilization. Assist in development and implementation of new procedures improving material flow, accuracy and space utilization.
Requirements: B.S. degree or 4-6 years related warehouse operations experience; 3-5 years supervisory experience; strong leadership skills; written and verbal communication skills; proven analytical and systematic problem solving and strong PC skills.
