FORTUNE 500 CPG MANUFACTURING COMPANY IS SEEKING DYNAMIC EXPERIENCED PRODUCTION/OPERATIONS SUPERVISORS TO JOIN THEIR GROWING TEAM IN THE CINCINNATI AREA.

Reporting to Site Operations Manager this position oversees and leads all site specified plant day to day operations during the absence of the Operations Director, Site Operations Manager and Department Managers. Position works collectively across all departments to lead, motivate and provide inspirational guidance and coaching for the safe and optimal operations for Spray Dry, Liquids, Chemical Manufacturing, Quality Control, Warehouse, and Maintenance functions during the off-shift.
Supervise and guide departmental leads ensuring that the site performs all activities while focused on safety, quality productivity and continuous improvement.
Collectively influence a leadership environment inspiring open communication across all departments in support of all safety procedures (MOC, LOTO, Confined Space Entry, etc.), SAP challenges, material flow and maintenance activities.
Lead, motivate and provide inspirational guidance and coaching in the safe and optimal operation and material flow of Liquid Processing, Spray Drying, Chemical Manufacturing, QC, and Warehousing/Shipping.
Ensure excellent quality product manufacturing through compliance to formulas and procedures, proper GMPs with proper sanitation adherence. Assist departmental leads in troubleshooting, resolution, and support preventive actions for recurrence of first pass yield failures, internal rejections and customer complaints.
In collaboration with Site leadership, lead and promote a culture of continuous improvement in areas of Total Quality, Cycle-Time Mgt and Lean throughout the manufacturing departments. Continually strive to create more open and productive communication with all site departments to meet and exceed the manufacturing schedule.
Requirements:
BS Degree
Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience (food or chemical preferred) including batch production, processing of liquid and/or dry products, material handling and warehousing experience. Technical knowledge in food industry production including spray drying, vacuum drying, filtration and reactions is highly preferred. Successful candidate must have at least 2 years of supervisory experience of greater than 10 employees with a strong safety orientation and influence. Basic knowledge of quality control processes ensuring evaluation of raw materials and finished goods are tested and confirmed acceptable or rejected in accordance with the company's QC and QM processes. Additionally, the successful candidate must have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) along with excellent interpersonal skills. Must be computer literate and have strong analytical skills. The ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously in a high stress environment is essential.
