Operations Supervisor Trainee Communications and Signals Norfolk Southern is one of the nation's premier transportation companies specializing in freight railroading. Successful candidates for the Operations Supervisor Training program will complete a 12 month training program designed to develop knowledge of managing railroad operations and applications. Trainees gain experience in installing all types of signal equipment used on the railroad, including wayside and crossing signal systems, defect detectors, automatic equipment identification (AEI) systems, and hump yard systems. Past Electrical or Electronics experience is required. Relocation is required. As an industry leader, Norfolk Southern offers a competitive starting salary of $62K.
