Operations Supervisor_Pompano Beach Job in Pompano Beach 33069, Florida US
Amware Pallet Services, and established, national company is looking for an experienced 2nd Shift (3pm- 12am)Operations Supervisor for our facility located in Pompano Beach, FL. Minimum of two years warehouse or manufacturing experience in a production based environment. Demonstrated strength in employee relations, leadership skills and problem solving skills. Able to work without supervision, take on added responsibilities, and be flexible to work some varied hours. Position will be for second shift, and hours are typically 3pm to approx 12am. Must have strong computer skills in Excel, Outlook, and Word. Bi-Lingual (english/ spanish) is a strongly preferred!
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Requirements
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Experience running a production safety program
- Experience supervising others in a manufacturing or warehouse setting
- Must be well versed in Microsoft Office, Excel
- Must have good mechanical aptitude, general maintenance experience is a plus
- Previous experience in a fast paced, high volume, warehouse environment
- Willingness to travel and assist with expertise at other sites as needed.
- Ability to work overtime to include some weekends and holidays.
- Flexibility in hours is desired
- Bilingual (english/ spanish) is strongly preferred
