Operations Technician
In this position you will provide support onsite at selected customers' tool rooms to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment and tools.
- Ensures accurate stock counts by performing regular inventory of tools at customer's site and tracking contractors' tool usage.
- Performs routine inspections, repairs and maintenance of tools as necessary, including but not limited to, mechanical, lubrication, painting, washing, cleaning, and preventative maintenance.
- Communicates customer requirements to the JTS office as required.
- Demonstrates orientation toward excellent customer service by conducting activities, communications, and interactions in a cooperative, positive, and professional manner.
Minimum six months related experience required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Capable of coordinating and performing routine, manual tasks. Ability to diagnose and solve routine mechanical issues. Operates in a safe, efficient manner.
- Minimal training in safety procedures and proper loading/unloading of equipment required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, squat, reach, crouch and kneel, stand for long periods of time, work in unprotected weather elements, wear hard-toed shoes and other required personal protective equipment, enter and exit vehicle appointed to drive. Must possess necessary skills to perform all duties required on vehicle assigned to operate.
