Operations Transfer Specialist recruitment
GENERAL FUNCTION:
Operational responsibility for cash and security transfers associated with new business and accounts that may be terminating.
DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Initiate transfer of cash and securities from previous trustee for new accounts
- Initiate transfer of securities to successor trustee for accounts terminating
- Daily review of the DTC activity reports to verify status of security and cash movement
- Change registration codes to reflect the appropriate location and status of assets as requested
- Post cash and securities transactions as received or withdrawn to accounts on Addvantage Trust system
- Post, submit and monitor incoming and outgoing mutual fund transfers via FUNDLINK
- Post, submit and monitor incoming and outgoing account transfers submitted via ACATS
- Process client requests via Qform and Insite in a timely manner
- Prepare daily and/or monthly volume reports
- Reconcile exceptions resulting from inaccurate prior days cash and security postings
- Update and maintain Assigned Insite Transfer Log daily
- Adhere to Department follow-up standards for all transfers.
- Perform follow-up on outstanding transfers based on type of transfer
- Ensure files are organized and written documentation is retained on transfers
- Initiate action to resolve any discrepancies with transfers
- Produce daily Linking report to department
- Participate in monthly team building activities
- Participate in monthly storage procedures for department
- Perform other assignments as requested/required
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- BBA Degree
- Minimum 3 year experience in Transfers or Securities Operations
- Excellent Microsoft office skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines and adapt easily to change
- Ability to organize and set priorities on work
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
