Operations Travel Aftersales Customer Assistant

Our client is recruiting for experienced Customer Service professionals to work for a leading travel company based in Luton, providing holidays and specialising in bringing customers the best deals available for many popular destinations.

The role will involve handling all inbound calls from customers regarding any amendments to their holiday/flight details, price quotations and costings , liaise with suppliers to resolve any issues, contribute to the after-sales targets to promote additional offerings and be a good ambassador for the clients/suppliers and colleagues. You will ensure that all enquiries are dealt with, ensure all information is recorded on the system and you will pro-actively take ownership of issues that may arise. This is not a sales role however you will have targets to promote the additional offerings hence the realistic OTE of £18,000pa.

The successful candidate will have previously worked within the call centre/customer service sector and must have previous experience within the travel/leisure industry. You will have competent keyboard skills and be comfortable with MS Office. Good attention to detail is required, good communication skills with a personable and friendly nature.   

The hours are Mon-Friday with occasional weekend cover required (on a rota basis)
