My client is an international software vendor based in Reading/Bracknell area. Seeks a talented Operations/Sales Director to lead the company's growth strategy in a new SAAS business operation. This is a new venture that is being sponsored by the owner/CEO and supported by an existing well established and successful software company.
Job Purpose
Working closely and supporting the CEO in the development and growth of the business, your remit is to have an overall strategic and operational responsibility for creating, developing and building an international partner organization for the new business unit.
This role is pivotal in the strategic transformational direction of the company requiring an inspirational indirect sales operational leader, with a track record of successfully designing and implementing structured international business processes and operational plans.
Responsibilities
- You will be instrumental in creating, developing, executing and measuring the Global Go-To-Market Partner strategy.
- As a self- starter you will lead, inspire and educate the key stakeholders within the business, using the existing strengths of the business to support the building and development of this new business.
- Working alongside the Executive Team, you will create and implement a strategic and ambitious business plan, ensuring that you align the new business unit's plans and objectives with the overall vision of the company and it's core values and beliefs
- Liaise with other functional/departmental managers to understand all necessary aspects and needs of operational development, and ensure they are fully informed of operational objectives, purposes and achievements
- Plan, develop and implement a Global Partner Strategy for operational management and development to meet organisational performance plans within agreed budgets and timescales
- Generate continuous demand through targeted: Partner Business Plan
- Partner On-Boarding Programme
- Partner Enablement Tools
- Pre-sales support and materials
- Partner educational activities
- Partner Contractual Agreements
- The objective of the partner business plan is to drive the sales Partner Programme, meet revenue growth objectives and deliver a healthy pipeline of sales leads to become future deals
- Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of operational management and development
- Monitor, measure and report on operational issues, opportunities and development plans and achievements
Skills and Experience
- You will have the leadership, technical and management capability to introduce and execute change in the business
- Experience of building an international SaaS business
- Ability to take the CEO's vision and create a global go-to-market strategic business plan, which is successfully delivered and measured
- Thorough understanding and experience of building a global partnership programme within a services/consulting business and with a software background
- Ability to effectively influence and manage change across a multi-cultural organization
- Track record of success of leading and building strong global sales operational teams
- In-depth understanding of sales channel and marketing processes
- Strong educational background, a first class graduate and a further qualification of MBA/MSc Level
- A skilled communicator able to influence key stakeholders and manage global virtual teams
- Experienced in setting up and building international offices from the ground-up
