My client is a global professional services business with an outstanding reputation for developing their people and providing market leading client service.
This firm is currently looking to recruit Assistant Managers and Managers to join their pre-eminent Tax Management Consultancy Practice. Tax Management Consultants advise their clients to help organisations drive efficiency, quality and risk management through their business. Working closely with key stakeholders within your portfolio, you will gain access to senior tax and finance leaders to advise them on all aspects of compliance and reporting transformation projects.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Assist global firms to deliver, review and transform their tax processes through process improvement, technology, risk and organisational design;
• Review, map and assess their tax processes for efficiencies and/or risk improvements;
• Design solutions by thinking across a spectrum of solutions that includes outsourcing, secondments, tax risk frameworks and technology to address these opportunities;
• Plan and manage the implementation of solutions;
• Work effectively individually and with junior staff to deliver these solutions and develop the team;
• Explore leading-edge business approaches, software tools and techniques and apply them to create innovative solutions.
Successful candidates will hold a recognised accountancy or tax qualification, having gained experience within a tax or finance processes position. Experience in delivering direct or indirect tax compliance and reporting under UK / US GAAP and IFRS is desirable, however candidates with a background in finance transformation or advisory work will also be considered. You will be a trusted advisor to your clients therefore the ability to manage relationships and communicate effectively with your clients will be essential. This role is ideally suited to flexible and ambitious candidates, willing to learn new skills and software.
