Ops risk and control recruitment
This is an ideal role for an individual who has worked in a similar function and has knowledge of the operational risk and control framework within an investment bank.
The main objectives of this role are:
To drive forward a control framework within operations, with particular focus on governance, accountability and transparency of information.
Coordinate the production of the complete operations end to end status ensuring information is accurate and consistent on a rolling reporting cycle.
Drive the production of Key Control and Performance indicators by challenging / validating as appropriate with the product Risk and Control officers to provide written commentary against status.
The main Functions are :
Ownership of the monthly KPI process.
Own the Monthly Attestation process
Independently review effectiveness of control procedures
Establish robust infrastructure to report, track and assess key risks
Work with Line managers to re mediate control gaps identified from root cause analysis and lessons learnt
