Description:

The role is responsible for day-to-day operations of Accounts Management as a cluster lead of a sub-process within the team. He or she is responsible for managing a team of small or medium size and to provide critical support to Client Advisor/ Client Advisor Assistant other partners within UBS Wealth Management Hong Kong Singapore.

Key tasks and responsibilities include:

• Provide help and support regarding all document and client's static data processing matters

• Provide guidance to the team on client documentation requirements; having the knowledge of client documentation requirements (both internal external) is a must. Although not expected to have knowledge of UBS specific processes/ documentation initially, the incumbent must display a strong eye for detail and be able to enhance his/her knowledge and get up to speed quickly

• Direct liaison with, and support to mainly internal clients including the advisory/ hotlines and all other partners including other departments within operations, Legal and Compliance, Business Risk Management, Credit Risk Control, Business Management, Project team etc. This will require a developed understanding of the various UBS product offerings including Portfolio, Discretionary Management, Trust and Margin Lending.

• Ensure adherence to regulations, guidelines, standards and UBS policies. UBS has a highly developed compliance focus in ensuring its pre-eminent local and global reputation remains at the forefront of the financial services industry. The incumbent will maintain a highly developed awareness of potential legislative and UBS policy breaches and act to proactively prevent their occurrence

• Managing a team of 5+ staff, setting objectives, having regular feedback/ coaching session with the staff; monitoring delivery, building a resilient and high-performing team is expected

• As a team lead, participation in team events, meetings, maintaining and enhancing morale in the team are expected

• Preparation of monthly reporting for management or controlling purposes

• Updating and monitoring of procedures and checklists to increase knowledge process improvement

• Engage in ah hoc project and work with Change the Bank team, including systems testing (UAT), process enhancement, cross-border initiatives, etc
