The Ops Specialist Lowes.com - Search strategically and tactically supports the Online Category Managers, ensuring sales and merchandising objectives are met both online and in support of total store sales. The Specialist works closely with the Online Search Manager, Online Category Managers and Online Product Marketing partners to ensure seasonal alignment and execution of shared goals, deliverables and expectations in the online search merchandising channel. Responsibilities also include scanning and identifying online search issues that impact online retail selling environments, keeping informed of industry trends and business issues and identifying opportunities to increase sales and improve profitability. The Specialist will take ownership and oversight over selected categories and functionality rolling up to the Online Search Manager. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: ?Analytics: Use site analytics data to report daily and weekly on search performance and keyword popularity to help with trending and predictive search behavior. ?Performance Analysis: Analyze product categorization and data to identify opportunities for improving customer experience using search. Work with the Online Search Manager and Online Category Managers to develop strategies for improvements. ?Functional Strategies: Recommend changes to the Lowes.com search experience by researching best-in-class commerce searches and working with Lowes.com?s User Experience Managers to establish Lowes.com customer expectations and preferences with regards to search and refined search. ?SEO: Research natural search trends to provide SEO recommendations for product naming conventions and assist the Lowes.com SEO and Taxonomy Teams to improve natural search rankings. POSITION REQUIREMENTS ?4-year Degree and/or relevant work experience. ?2-4 years ecommerce or Retail experience ?Highly motivated, dynamic person who has a knack for detail, organization, patience and communication with others and is a problem solver ? Ability to handle high pressure situations and dynamic environment ?Proficient with Microsoft Office ?Must work well within a team environment and mentor others. ?Excellent-time management/organizational skills ?Excellent oral and written communication skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS ?MBA or Advanced Degree ? Passion for execution ?Highly analytical with desire for solving problems ? Experience in program/project management ?Experience working with and administering systems ?
