Description

The incumbent coordinates daily workflow for Operations Support Specialists. Responds to elevated participant calls. Tracks and reports daily workflow statistics for phone center, mail team, and scanning. Respond to the most complex and unusual customer inquiries in a call center environment with volumes ranging from 30 to 80 calls per day. Ensures accurate and timely processing of non-financial data entry. Work effectively within the overall customer service process, including the effective use of customer support software and databases, to log inquiries, research information and solve customer problems. Research priority issues and the most difficult or unusual inquiries. Serves as the supervisor's designee in responding to issues escalated by less experienced Customer Service Representatives. Draft and finalize written correspondence. Perform quality checks and self-audits. Maintain knowledge of daily alerts. Train and mentor new hires. Other duties/projects as assigned.

Qualifications

College degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience as a successful customer service representative. Previous leadership/supervisory experience preferred. PC including a working knowledge of EXCEL, WORD and ACCESS. Experience with related mainframe systems, databases and Web based applications. Good communication and interpersonal skills: listening, verbal, written, and problem solving with a high degree of customer service. Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
