We are currently seeking applications from experienced Optical Managers who are ready for the challenge of managing one of National Pharmacies’ highest turnover Optical stores.
The Optical Manager is responsible for the performance of the branch and the individual performance of team members, ensuring profitability targets are met. The Optical Manager manages workflow, rosters and relationships with partners. They must manage the team to maintain good working relationships and ensure members and customers receive outstanding customer service. The Marion Optical store also hosts one of our key Optical Dispenser trainee positions; therefore the successful candidate will have the responsibility of training and integrating new team members into the Optical business.
To successfully meet the demands of this role, you will require:
- Certificate 4 in Optical Dispensing, or willingness to work towards this qualification
- Extensive optical management and dispensing experience
- A strong customer service orientation
- Business management and development skills
- Strong self-motivation and ability to motivate others
- Superior interpersonal skills
- Well developed team leadership and coaching skills
- Stock management and merchandising skills
