Optimisation / Low-Level Programmer Required for Quantitative Group at Tier 1 Bank. recruitment
Are you someone that learned C, C++, x86 assembler from a young age and used it as a hobby long before you ever used it in a commercial environment? Perhaps you have experience working with Linux-based clusters or programming CPUs/GPUs and what to find a role in which you could actually utilise these skills to their full potential?
If so, I would strongly suggest reading on…
I am working with an elite quant group at a tier 1 bank. The group is responsible for the research and development of quantitative models across all asset classes. They come into contact with almost every other business group at the bank and they are widely renowned for having some extremely talented scientists, mathematicians and technologists.
The group is looking for a low-level programmer to come in and work closely with the quants. The successful candidate must have a very strong knowledge of low-level programming, network programming, cluster configuration and optimisation, (ideally at the hardware level – knowledge of FPGA/VHDL would be a distinct advantage.)
The team has extremely high technical standards so please ensure you are competent enough to undergo various technical interviews before applying.
