EMEA: Curriculum Developer (IC3), Curriculum Developer (IC4)
The Oracle Academy supports high schools and colleges/universities to integrate Oracle technology and curriculum into computer science (CS), engineering and business curricula. As an Oracle Academy Instructor/Curriculum Developer you will:
Deliver Oracle Academy virtual and live train-the-trainer (TTT) events to secondary school teachers and 2-year college faculty. The following courses comprise the Oracle Academy curriculum:
o Java Fundamentals
o Java Programming
o Database Design
o Programming with SQL
o Programming with PL/SQL
Deliver the following Oracle Academy virtual and live TTT and open-attendance workshops to secondary school teachers and 2-year college faculty:
o Getting Started with Alice
o Getting Started with Greenfoot
Support US or EMEA marketing staff to evangelize the Oracle Academy curriculum to Ministry of Education and State Department of Education representatives.
Consult US or EMEA marketing staff on how best to customize standard Oracle Academy curriculum if required.
Under the direction and project management of the Oracle Academy Curriculum Manager, revise/update Oracle Academy curriculum as needed.
Requirements:
5-10 years technical training experience (required).
Exceptional teaching, presentation, and customer interface skills (required).
Strong critical thinking, collaboration, and attention to detail skills (required).
Experience developing or delivering Oracle technical curriculum (desired).
Strong curriculum development skills (desired).
