Oracle Applications Developer
As part of the Oracle ERP Technical team, this resource will work with the Oracle Analysts in providing on-going support for Oracle Module Implementations. Work activities include providing solutions for break/fix, continuous improvements, and small to mid to complex projects. The Oracle Applications Developer will be involved in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting the Oracle applications. In the short term, this position will be actively involved in a key IT Project, which involves the redesign of all our business processes. In conjunction with this project, we will be reimplementing Oracle R12 as a pre-placement of our current 11.5.10 install. There will be plenty of opportunities to work on conversions, interfaces, enhancements, and custom programs. Experience with Oracle R12 Applications and the latest Oracle technologies will be a plus. * Develops solutions requiring analysis and research. * Works on break/fix, continuous improvement, small to large, complex projects * Participates and support analysis, development and testing for Oracle including some or all of the following: BOM, INV, WIP, Engineering and Scheduling (MRP), Service Contracts, Warranty, INV, WIP, OM, and EDI * Design, develop and maintain interfaces * Design, develop and maintain reports * Participate in the build, support and maintenance of Oracle application workflows, interfaces, custom reports, and other extensions. * Identify and implement system process improvements and enhancements. * Perform other related duties as assigned. Job Requirements * Bachelorrsquo;s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. * 3 years + experience of Oracle ERP programming experience supporting Modules (11.5.10 or R12) including some or all of the following: BOM, INV, WIP, Engineering and Scheduling (MRP), Service Contracts, Warranty, INV, WIP, OM, and EDI * Requires a solid foundation with Oracle ERP 11i or R12, Oracle relational databases, PL/SQL, Oracle Reports and Oracle Forms. * Expert knowledge in using Oracle Forms (6i), Reports (6i), PL/SQL, Oracle Workflow Builder (2.5) and Self-Service applications. * Experience with Oracle Workflow is strongly desired. * Strong experience in developing reports, interfaces, data conversion programs, and application extensions. * Proven track record supporting customers in a Oracle corporate environment * Experience with the Oracle Application suite and knowledge of key relationships / dependencies across the Oracle modules. * Possesses an in-depth knowledge of the principles, theories, practices and techniques for developing and implementing systems and development projects and programs. * Experience in systems analysis, design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies. * Interact with project team members and work with functional leads to trouble shoot technical problems. * Strong documentation skills. * Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
