Oracle Applications DBA
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established DBA team providing project skills to a variety of Clients. The role will primarily focus on R12 upgrades, but will also include other Oracle product implementations and upgrades (e.g database, dataguard, RMAN).
Skills and experience essentially required:
You must have excellent communications skills and the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical people. you will possess strong DBA skills such as 9i, 10g, 11g and oracle 11i /R12 uprade experience (financials, HR/Pay, SCM, P2P).
You will have prior knowledge of hardware sizing, architecture, RAC, Grid, OEM AS, RMAN, Dataguard, hot and cold backups, patching, cloning, and performance tuning.
Strong PL/SQL and SQL skills plus UNIX and/or Windows desirable. Experience in platform migrations (e.g from Solaris to Linux). Unix Shell Scripting.
