Oracle Consultants – Finance Systems recruitment

As a result of market demand, and successful growth of our IT Advisory business, we have created a new set of roles for individuals to participate in, create, and develop an Oracle applications technology team.

The team will cover UK predominantly, with EMEIA and International assignments a possibility. The team will be London based.

The capability will enable EY to serve existing clients and develop new business across the financial services sectors, namely:

- Banking and Capital markets

- Retail Banking

- Insurance

- Asset Management.

Individuals will have deep knowledge of at least one of the following capabilities, with working knowledge of the others:

- Finance systems architecture

- General Ledger strategy

- Regulatory, Statutory and Management reporting

- Finance, Risk and Treasury integration

- Product Accounting solutions.

Key skills and attributes:

- Demonstrate knowledge of Financial Services Oracle - Investment or retail bank, insurance or asset management

- Prior consulting experience at a Big 4, major system integrator or top tier consulting firm will be advantageous.

- Proven delivery in Oracle for Financial Services in one of the following:

* Oracle Financials, with predominant focus on General Ledger - Release 11.5.10 and above
* Oracle Financial Accounting Hub, or non-Oracle ARE equivalent
* Oracle Financial Services Analytic Applications (OFSAA)
* Oracle BI Analytics including Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)
* Oracle Hyperion Financial Management
* Oracle Hyperion Planning
* Oracle Hyperion Essbase

- Relevant Oracle certifications, where applicable, will be advantageous

- Experience of 2 Project Life Cycles

- Hands on technical delivery experience

- Experience of Oracle applications architecture design

- Experience on large scale complex systems integration or transformation projects will be advantageous

- A first level university degree, 2:1 (or equivalent) or above

- Academic / Professional background in Financial / Management Accounting will be advantageous.
