About the Job
Oracle Database Administrator DBA, to £55K, Hands on experience in a large scale Oracle Enterprise environment working on tuning and database structures is key to this role.
You will be involved in working on Oracle 8i, 9i and 10g databases linked to telecom and utility companies billing software running on Sun and HP servers and a growing SQL Server portfolio. This position will support products in use by external clients in a growing business sector. Key skills you will need to demonstrate will be Oracle 8i/9i/10g database administration in a mission critical system, SQL Server Adaptive Server, Oracle Back up and Recovery, Planning/Implementation (RMAN), Change control disciplines, Database refreshes, Advanced problem solving skills. Other useful skills will include Oracle Data Guard, Materialized Views, PL/SQL applications, Shell Scripting, Unix Site Administration Java and Web Server skills. You will have the opportunity to get involve in future research and development plus ongoing technological updates. Experience in Project Management and budget control is desirable.
The salary on offer is between £45K and £55K+ benefits and the role is based in West London / Middlesex.
