Oracle Database Administrator
Responsibilities:
Implement database rollouts
Daily maintenance of database infrastructure
Coordinate hardware maintenance/upgrades
Implement database server software maintainance and upgrades
Troubleshoot database server and connectivity problems
Troubleshoot Oracle Applications
Maintain server/database/user security
Coordinate development/implementation of new database applications with Developers etc
Create/terminate user accounts
Update documentation
General system administration (Unix/NT)
Skills Required:
BS Computer Science or related degree
OCA/OCP certification
Very strong SQL knowledge
Database administration
Oracle Application Administration
