Oracle Database Administrator Job in Terre Haute 47804, Indiana US
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the installation, upgrade and support of Sony DADC's Oracle database environments.
- Install, upgrade, patch and support multiple Oracle database versions.
- Proactively monitor database systems to ensure high availability, optimal performance and secure services with no downtime.
- Responsible for implementation and release of database changes as submitted by the development team.
- Provide technical support for the development, systems administration and operations support staff during the design, development and implementation phases of applications and systems.
- Create and modify primary database structure and objects, control user access, allocate system storage and plan for future storage requirements within the database system. Provide assistance in the database server architecture.
Required Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology, Computer Science or related field.
This is an entry level position requiring zero to three years experience.
