Oracle Database Administrator DBA, to £60K, My client is looking for an Oracle DBA to work at their City based office. The client is a financial based software house and consultancy that can offer a rewarding a varied position in a superb working environment.
You will be involved in working on Oracle releases up to and including 11g, you will need to demonstrate database administration in a mission critical system, Oracle Back up and Recovery, Planning/Implementation (RMAN), Change control disciplines, Database refreshes, Advanced problem solving skills. Other useful skills will include Oracle Data Guard, Materialized Views, PL/SQL applications, Shell Scripting, Unix Site Administration Java and Web Server skills. You will have the opportunity to get involved in future research and development plus ongoing technological updates.
The salary on offer is negotiable but likely to be between 50k and 60k with a superb bonus system + benefits
