Oracle Database Administrator
Location: Liverpool
Duration: 6 Months
Rate: £300.00 / Day
Currently looking for someone to join a large-blue chip company to provide Database Administration Support based heavily on Oracle and Middleware/Fusion.
You will provide:
Operational and maintenance support for Oracle applications
Ensure application services are available and functioning
Troubleshoot and resolve application service issues
Establish and maintain application backup and recovery procedures
Research and install critical application security updates
Provide technical support for both planned and unplanned application maintenance
Provide optimisation and tuning support for applications ensuring highest degree of performance
Gather and provide application utilisation statistics
Perform capacity planning and application bench marking
Monitor daily logs and log space allocations, and CPU and memory usage
Monitor for resource intensive activity and take corrective action as necessary.
Must Have:
Proficient with Oracle
Middleware DBA
Oracle Fusion
