Oracle DBA / Oracle Database Administrator Job in City Of Dublin

As an Oracle DBA you will you be responsible for maintaining and supporting all aspects of the Oracle database and the technical environments group who maintain all product environments within the organisation.
A snap-shot of the key responsibilities within the role are as follows:
Standard DBA housekeeping tasks including backups, restores, trouble-shooting, oracle installation and upgrades as well as ensuring high availability of all in-house database instances.
Responsible for design and implementation of database changes in conjunction with the development and business teams
Responsible for building database releases
Maintenance of all internal environments for development, client support and QA teams
Providing assistance to client support teams for production issues
Developing SQL and PL/SQL scripts and providing expert SQL guidance to developers, client support and report writers.
Assisting Architecture team with performance issues and enhancements
Requirements:
Proven Oracle Database Administration experience on 10g, 11g.
Experience of managing multiple Oracle RDBMS on large systems
Knowledge of Oracle RAC, standby Databases, RMAN etc.
SQL and PL/SQL
Good working knowledge of UNIX (Solaris, AIX, Redhat) and DOS as well as batch and shell scripting
Practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service.
Oracle Certification, preferably OCP, an advantage
