There are multiple business units operating under tour client. Many of those businesses have historically had independent financial systems and IT support for those systems. They are moving toward a shared IT Services model and part of this transition involves consolidating the various business units onto one common/updated Oracle Financials platform.
As a functional resource responsible for supporting business processes within the Oracle Financials application, the Oracle FInancials Functional Analyst will work closely with the rest of the Shared Services IT group and affiliate stakeholders to provide functional support, including:
- Assistance with functional questions/issues pertaining to Oracle Financials operation and business processes
- Creation and modification of business processes to align them with a shared services model
- Liaising with infrastructure hosting partner resources to resolve issues and close tickets
