Oracle Exadata DBA Job in Vienna 22182, Virginia Us
Mythics is looking to add to their team by adding an Oracle Exadata DBA. You will be responsible for leading the analysis/design of Oracle Exadata Server infrastructure projects. You will staff and install Exadata assignments at customer sites. You will develop physical and logical architectural models for Oracle Exadata Server platforms. Ensure successful implementation of infrastructure designs through collaborative project team communication, planning documentation, system testing, and defect resolution. Participate in project planning and project status communications. In addition to Exadata, you should be able to work with other Oracle Appliances (Oracle Database Appliance, Oracle ZFS, etc).
You MUST be US Citizen and able to obtain clearance as this position will require a clearance!
Profile:
5+ years of technical consulting experience
Proven infrastructure implementation skills
Proven troubleshooting skills of enterprise applications
Strong client relationship skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical personnel
Installation and configuration of Oracle 9i, 10g, 11g RAC
Overall technical experience with Oracle RAC
Experience in working with Linux, Solaris, Unix, and Windows
Bachelor's degree or equivalent training/experience required
Understanding of Oracle's Maximum Availability Architecture (MAA)
Understanding of Oracle Database Real Application Clusters (RAC)
