We are currently seeking an Oracle Financials Developer to add to our growing company of talented team members.
The Oracle Financials Developer will work directly with the internal Rentrak customers to support mission critical business functions using the Oracle suite of Financial and CRM applications. The position will work with Product Owners, Business Unit Managers, (BUMs) and Corporate IT to assist in identifying solutions to enable business process improvements and serve as Trusted adviser and Subject Matter expert to the business regarding how the system can be used to support desired business processes and requirements.
Specific tasks associated with this job include:
- Provide functional and technical support to users to maintain Oracle Financials - includes coding, report writing and testing in specific Rentrak Oracle development environment.
- Responsible for all SOX audits (user security, responsibility audits as needed). Facilitate annual audit work.
- Document business requirements and suggest business improvements
- Coordinate and verify all system testing for system upgrades, enhancements and implementations
- Act as a primary liaison for all financial users for support and project related activities while working and coordinating with the Corporate IT teams.
- Setup, configure, test and validate Oracle eBusiness Application modules and customizations
- Implementation, solution development and design, and testing.
Position requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
- Knowledge of Accounting and Finance business processing.
- International business accounting experience a plus.
- 5+ years of experience with General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.
- Experience with Oracle Applications Technology foundation, Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow, XML Publisher, Oracle Database 10g, SQL loader.
- Experience with Month-End close process and proficient in Financials Technical foundation and table structures.
- Experience with Oracle Applications API's,Database concepts, PL/SQL, Unix Shell Scripts, FTP process
- Previous experience implementing and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite 11i Financials applications.
- Knowledge of other Oracle E-Business Suite application modules and experience working with Oracle EBS Release 12 will be a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment.
