Oracle Financials Tester Job in Gaithersburg, Maryland Us
The MIL Corporation is a government contracting company, providing information technology, financial,and quality assurance services to the Federal Government. Established in1980, MIL has spent over 30 years securing multimillion dollar contracts, and delivering professional services to numerous government agencies.
We are currently seeking an Oracle FinancialsTester for one of our federal government clients along the I-270 corridor in Maryland.
Below is a brief description of this opportunity:
• Develop designs and codes, test, debug and document new software or enhancements to existing software
• Create high-level software design documentation and level of effort for functional requirements provided by the client
• Work with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them.
• Perform initial testing of the newly developed code
We are looking for candidates with knowledge in the following areas:
• Must have extensive experience with BSD development in Oracle Forms and Reports
• Experience with BSD business applications (Oracle 10G, AP/AR, GL, Data Warehouse, etc.)
• Experience with ticketing tracking system (i.e.: Remedy, Tivoli, Heat)
• Experience with Spot Testing and Regression Testing
Experience with automated testing tools (Quick Test Pro, Win Runner, Load Runner)
• Experience with government accounting
• Experience with SQL developer (TOAD a huge plus)
• Must be able to pass a federal background investigation and obtain a security clearance
