Oracle Project Manager,  Project Delivery
 Summary Job Description
Must have end to end project delivery lifecycle experience of Oracle ERP projects, preferably from a consulting background.
Reports to Oracle Practice Programme Manager
Profile of Candidate
The Project Manager role within the Oracle Practice is a key role with a clear and visible delivery responsibility to the business and the clients customers.
The Project Manager is responsible for Oracle E-Business Suite project delivery in accordance with the client project methodology, processes, and policies.
Ability to lead an experienced delivery team made from the onsultancy,  Client and third party individuals. Experience in stakeholder management and working alongside clients to deliver to specification in challenging environments.
A proven track record of successful project delivery is vital.
Key Responsibilities
• Overall management and responsibility for the project.
• Ability to shape an opportunity, taking a high level client requirements and developing a comprehensive project plan.
• Deliver the project deliverables within budget and on time to agreed quality.
• Active stakeholder management and management of all issues within the project to ensure successful project delivery.
• Report and present project status / issues / risks to the Project Board.
 

Experience Qualifications  Personal Specification e.g. skills, knowledge, experience required

• Educated to university degree level

• 5 + years of relevant project management experience

• Prince2 Practitioner Certification desirable

• Excellent communication skills; Effectively communicate relevant project information to senior management; Deliver engaging, informative, well-organized presentations; Understand how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully

• Excellent conflict management skills

• Strong analytical ability

• Excellent relationship building skills

• Self-starter takes the initiative

• Enthusiastic and driven to succeed.

• Open rather than secretive

• Collaborative

• Assertive rather than confrontational
