Posted Position Title: Oracle Purchasing/Sourcing Senior Functional Solutions Lead Career Level: Experienced Function Information Technology Function Segment: Business Solutions Location: United States U.S. State, China or Canada Provinces: Kentucky City: Louisville Postal Code: 40225-0001 Relocation Assistance Yes Role Summary/Purpose: The Oracle Purchasing/Sourcing Sr Functional Solutions Lead will be responsible for driving strategy governance for the Appliance Oracle ERP projects. In this role you will assume responsibility for the overall architecture and process design for Oracle ERP-Purchasing Sourcing. You will need to develop and execute clear objectives for yourself, vendor/partners and ERP business team members in order to influence business process design, minimize customizations, and maximize project benefits. Essential Responsibilities - Engage with Oracle ERP project teams and supporting functions to provide expertise and lead business process solution designs to the fewest custom elements - Leverage existing solutions and global GE designs to drive standardization simplification to reduce implementation timelines costs - Communicate and continuously improve Oracle ERP CoE standards, policies, governance requirements - Identify critical path decisions, make recommendations, and influence program leaders and business process owners to maximize project payback - Work as a business partner with ERP leaders and users to evaluate / improve business processes and arrive at mutual, cost effective solution for business processes - Participate in the preparation of long-range systems plans and assure that they are in concert with business objectives and goals Qualifications/Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or other such as Natural Sciences or Engineering OR a high school diploma/GED combined with at least 10 years of experience in the application of current information technologies to business solutions - At least 5 years of experience with Oracle Purchasing modules including more than one full implementation lifecycle ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: - GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work. Desired Characteristics - Working knowledge of Oracle EBS R12+ is desired - Working knowledge of Sourcing, iSupplier, Purchasing, Inventory, MRP is desired - Knowledge of other Oracle EBS modules such as Inventory, EBS Quality, MFG/WMS, Install Base would be a plus - Strong influencing, interpersonal and relationship management skills - Proven analytical and problem resolution skills - Quality and cost driven; experience in six-sigma and lean - Proactive responsible individual, able to set own action plans with minimal management - Ability to influence and build consensus with other IT teams and leadership - Excellent oral and written communication skills
