Eaton Corporation located in Moon Township, PA has an opening for an Senior Oracle Functional Analyst: Discrete Manufacturing and Planning.

This position can sit in ANY Eaton facility in the United States.

The primary function includes, but is not limited to: providing functional and configuration expertise of the Oracle e-Business Suite (eBS) in compliance with Eaton’s global single instance implementation strategy and ECP Implementation Methodology.

The Oracle Senior Functional Analyst: Discrete Manufacturing and Planning works within the ERP deployment team and among IT staff and functional leaders to invoke standard supply-chain processes through the implementation of our common Oracle ERP system. This position is involved throughout the entire project lifecycle, providing functional expertise and solution design through gathering of requirements, analysis of proposed process and/or system changes, management of approved requirements specifications, configuration of proposed system changes, testing support, and gap resolution during the testing cycles.

The applicant must have an advanced understanding of Oracle Applications eBS modules manufacturing and planning modules. The role requires consultant level presence, business and eBS functional and technical skills. The candidate must have the capability to engage in the establishment and drive to achieve long-term directions. The Senior Functional Analyst is recognized as the subject-matter expert on processes, functionality and configuration of one or more ECP process streams.

Responsibilties include, but are not limited to:
A. Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define, document, and communicate business, financial, and operations requirements. Identify systems goals and solutions to systems issues.
B. Work in partnership with business users on business requirements, processes, and systems. Provide knowledge and input to the business on the system implications of business process changes. Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, event lists, business analysis, competitive product analysis, task and workflow analysis, and/or viewpoints.
C. Configure the system according to business requirements and in compliance with ECP standards and considerations of the Global Single Instance.
D. Support business partners in defining target business processes by assessing current processes, globally and cross-organizationally. Help to identify consolidated, worldwide target processes.
E. Collaborate across the organization to ensure seamless system integration across all business applications, systems, platforms, and infrastructure in the global computing environment.
F. Analyze business requirements, assess alternative solutions, design develop and implement application system solutions using Oracle or other third party systems.
G. Participate in unit testing, integration testing support, and review of business training materials.
H. Understand and support security role identification.
I. Identify the customer’s needs by utilizing effective interviewing skills that ask questions which surface essential requirements information.
J. Assist in managing requests for new technology solutions or enhancements to existing technology, according to client/agreed priorities.
K. Manage changes to baseline requirements through effective application of change control processes and tools.
L. Coordinate user acceptance testing, plan/coordinate deployment, design appropriate measures to report on success and client user acceptance of technical implementations sting and ensure customer satisfaction.
M. Implement configuration changes as direct outcome of gaps and issues identified in conference room pilots and user acceptance testing.
N. Set up Oracle production based on previously tested and signed off system configuration.
O. Participate and provide solution input in Governance calls.
P. Serve as the system subject matter expert from a functional and configuration perspective in the specified process streem.
Q. Responsible for mentoring and/or training new functional analysts.
R. Support the project manager to ensure the standard ECP methodlogy is followed

Basic Qualifications
-Bachelors degree required from an accredited institution.
-5 years of Oracle Functional Analyst experience
-Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship

Preferred Requirements
-PMP and/or CBAP certification a plus
