Oracle, Sybase and Business Objects developer recruitment
Core competencies and skills include -
Proven experience and expertise in application development using the following IT technologies:
*Package and stored procedure development in Oracle PL/SQL
*Sybase SQL Server T-SQL stored procedure development
*Development of reports using Business Objects XI (R 2 or R 3)
*Excellent SQL knowledge
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Development and testing of Oracle packages and stored procedures developed in PL/SQL.
Development and testing of Sybase procedures developed in T-SQL.
Development and testing of business objects reports.
Assist in all technical aspects of system integration testing and user acceptance testing including the diagnosis of issues and supplying code fixes.
Proactive identification, management and escalation of technical risks and issues.
Provide regular status updates, reflecting progress against the development schedule.
KEY COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

The potential candidate needs to possess strong problem solving skills with an ability to develop innovative solutions to technical problems.
Ideally you will have worked within a trading environment or Investment banking experience.
