Oracle Technical Development Team Leader required with previous proven Leadership / Management experience  as well as an in depth knowledge of business application and software development tools such as Oracle Forms Reports, PL/SQL, Web Technologies with particular reference to the Oracle toolset.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Oracle Technical Development Team Leader to lead an existing team of Oracle Developers that is both responsible for, and maintains and enhances, software development environments, associated tools and 3rd party software. The role requires relevant technical experience as it is very much a hands-on role providing input to technical builds and designs using the existing Oracle Application Server architecture as well as the adoption of Oracle’s SOA/BPM toolset.

The team provides consultancy best practice advice to Oracle developers in the Forms Reports as well as SQL PL/SQL and intends to be capable of doing the same with the new technologies, so applicants need to be technically proficient in the existing skill set as a minimum. Problem solving and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to mentor other team members in the approach to the team’s work, with professionalism and approachability being the ideal blend of any member of the team.
