Oracle Technical Support Analyst recruitment
Deliverables Tasks:
- Aid in the development of structured support processes for the Business Applications Support team.
- Provide software documentation to agreed standards.
- Ensure owned processes are clearly documented and understood by others in team.
- Interface effectively with other support teams.
- Support introduction of tools for formal release management and problem tracking.
- Build relations with key IT users.
- Facilitate in the successful delivery of small projects into the production environment.
- Contribute to improvements in the application support environment.
- Provide application support, enhancements and testing to agreed quality.
- In conjunction with other support areas and 3rd-parties provide agreed levels of systems
- availability.
- Utilise the application support and change management systems effectively .
- To work alongside AI project teams and ensure successful integration into production.
- To provide support on a shift basis ( 7am to 7 pm )
- To provide on call support (7pm to 7am) on a rota basis
Capabilities: Qualifications / Skills / Knowledge / Experience:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- IT qualifications as appropriate
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- IMC or other Investment Management qualification
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
- SQL/Oracle – Expert
- Java - Intermediate
- Unix - Intermediate
- IBM MQ series – Knowledge of
- Understanding of standard IT practices in an operational environment
- Understanding of IT operating environment
- Ability to communicate clearly with business users
- Ability to develop clear and precise business requirement documentation and supporting
- technical documentation
- Analytical thinker
