Oracle/SAP Solution Architect are urgently required

Oracle/SAP Solution Architect is required by my client a leading global consultancy. The Oracle/SAP Solution Architect will be positioned within the enterprise solution architecture space. The business orientated, technically experienced SAP and/or Oracle practitioners will join a team of ERP Solution Architects focused on helping clients make the most of package centric solutions. We will be looking for a self-starter who can articulate clearly the architectural significance and benefits of packages and has had practical experience of two or more project lifecycles in similar roles. This is a role that will require an individual to be able to communicate with comfort with both senior client business-leaders and IT Leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
* Part of package-centric (SAP or Oracle) architecture engagements for clients - developing suitable roadmaps and architectural guidance;
* Playing a role major programmes - ensuring clients and project architects select appropriate package components, in order to maximise their investment;
* Leading technical delivery of major package programmes - helping define the overall technical architecture for the solution;
* Working with the wider architecture, technical delivery and program management teams to ensure that delivery risk is managed effectively
* Building on existing delivery approaches, helping establish standardised, quality delivery practices and appropriate governance across the project technology stack;
* Helping define package oriented solutions that we can take to clients in line with our overall SOA strategy in the UK and Ireland;
* Working with partners, vendors and the Technology Services teams to develop a funnel of business for the team both as stand-alone initiatives and as part of wider package-centric offerings; Supporting successful bids;
* Helping sustain effective relationships with SAP and/or Oracle at sales consulting level around Packages Architecture;
* Produce and maintain market-credible points of view on relevant technology offerings and how they play against/and fit with other market-leading solutions

Person Profile:
* You must have 3-5 years experience in architecting and implementing SAP and/or Oracle solutions for clients. Deep experience of a range of technology solutions and a good understanding of the full-lifecycle of package implementations is required. Good proven functional knowledge of the SAP and/or Oracle solution-set is required. This is a role which will combine both consulting and delivery management skills.
