Order Entry Job in 10018

  

An importer and manufacturer of Mediterranean-inspired products has an opening on their Inventory Management team to enter orders. 

 

Order Entry responsibilities to include but are not limited to:

 

·         Retrieve and review customer’s orders.

·         Review inventory levels at various warehouse locations.

·         Enter customer orders into Excel based system.

·         Confirm orders to customers.

·         Act as inside link to outside sales representatives.

·         Review warehouse releases are in place.

·         Ensure truckers are sent delivery orders and confirm receipt.

·         Resolve inventory issues when needed.

·         Resolve warehouse and trucking issues when needed.

·         Liaison with all relevant parties to control loss due to damage, mis-ships, and entry errors.

·         Assist with unauthorized deductions when needed.

·         Purchasing and Sales departments when needed.

·         Acting back up to Customer Service.

This position requires knowledge of basic mathematics and proficiency in Excel, Word, and Microsoft Outlook. 

 

The ideal candidate will have a college degree and at least two years’ experience in both data entry and customer service.
