Organic Chemist/Technical Sales Job in Cherry Hill, New Jersey Us

Our multi-billion dollar client is one of the oldest companies in the word with a diverse portfolio of services and products who is looking for a Technical Sales Specialist. If you are an Organic Chemist who is looking to get out of the lab and enjoys making presentations to clients and wants to get into the business side of things this is the position for you.

This position is responsible for sales, marketing and commercial development of business unit products and services within an assigned geographical sales territory.  This position identifies potential new products, initiates development and coordinates scale-up in conjunction with the customer and appropriate business unit personnel.  The incumbent is expected to travel 50% while maintaining a travel budget. The incumbent has responsibility for a defined sales territory which is comprised of an assigned number of states, major accounts and active accounts. 

B.S./M.S. Degree in Chemistry(organic chemistry); Good understanding of chemical processes and sound manufacturing practices as related to business unit product lines and potential products. 50% travel is required(2-3 nights per week) primarily to the west coast. This company will train you in sales if you do not have a sales background. Candidates do not have to have a sales background, but they MUST have Organic Chemistry experience in a pharmaceutical setting.
